Celebrate the Birth of Christ with Mesa Temple Garden Lights Display
By: Cecily Markland
This year, when Church members and friends from the community Celebrate the Birth of Christ in Lights and Music with the annual Mesa Temple Gardens Lights Display, they will notice a few changes from years past. Most noticeable among those changes will be the staging and schedule of the free concerts.
Started more than 30 years ago, the annual lights display is known as one of the largest volunteer-driven Christmas lights displays in the country. According to temple volunteer, Dee Hobbs, the event is specifically designed to convey a message of peace and goodwill and to share the true message and the wonder of the Christmas season.
Again this year, beautiful lighting throughout the garden areas, as well as the exhibit of international nativity scenes inside the Visitors' Center, will draw thousands of people to the Mesa Temple Garden Christmas Lights Display.
